In Monday's league test, the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR), by a count of 18-3.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) in a 2A Region 2 test, on Thursday, April 3. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, AR).

The Bears (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Tuckerman toppled McCrory (McCrory, AR), 10-0, in a non-league test.
