The Central Tigers triumphed over the host Mills University Studies Comets softball team by a final score of 16-8 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Panthers go into the 6A Central bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Cabot gained a win over North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 16-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Comets battle the ESTEM Mets (Little Rock, AR) in a 4A Region 5 South bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Mills University Studies will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mets go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Robinson (Little Rock, AR).
