The Izard County Cougars softball squad (Brockwell, AR), was edged 4-3 in Monday's league contest with the host Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR)

With the triumph, Tuckerman improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host McCrory (McCrory, AR) to face the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Jaguars enter the contest with a record of 5-4. McCrory won 11-5 in their recent league contest against Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR)

The Cougars now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Heber Springs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1. Izard County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
