In Monday's league challenge, the Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) softball squad triumphed over the host Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ), by a count of 11-2.
Next, the Raiders meet the Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ) in a Cape-Atlantic - American challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. Ocean City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 5-3 league loss to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ).
The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Millville (Millville, NJ). The Thunderbolts enter the Cape-Atlantic - American challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Millville overcame Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 9-7, in a league challenge.
