California High School Softball - Mira Costa bested by South

The South Spartans triumphed over the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs softball squad by a count of 16-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans play the West Warriors (Torrance, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. South will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA).
The Mustangs (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves enter the Pioneer challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Wiseburn- Da Vinci overcame Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA), 7-4, in a non-league challenge.
