Pennsylvania High School Softball - Union Area tipped by Neshannock

March 31, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101

Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Neshannock improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Lancers travel to Laurel (New Castle, PA) to face the Spartans in a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Wednesday, April 2. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 3-2. Laurel lost 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Beaver (Beaver, PA)

The Scotties now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chartiers-Houston for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. Union Area will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-0.
