The St. Anthony's Friars softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting St. John the Baptist Cougars to 0 in the Friars non-league win on Monday.
The Friars now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a battle on Wednesday, April 2.
With the loss, St. John the Baptist moves to 0-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Sacred Heart Academy (Hempstead, NY) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
