The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers overwhelmed the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Concordia Fighting Orioles (Concordia, MO) in a Class 1 District 8 challenge, on Monday, April 7. Wellington-Napoleon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Orioles go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Cole Camp (Cole Camp, MO).

The Saints (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithton (Smithton, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Smithton toppled Orrick (Orrick, MO), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.
