The Marked Tree Indians the visiting Armorel Tigers baseball team by a count of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maynard for a 1A Region 3 test on Thursday, April 2. Marked Tree will play a Tigers team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Armorel drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 2. The Falcons enter the outing with a record of 2-2. Crowley's Ridge Academy lost 15-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR)
