The Douglas Eagles routed the host Pennington Tigers baseball team by a margin of 17-7 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now hold a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ranburne for a non-league test on Thursday, April 2. Douglas will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-5.

The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL). The Hornets come into the 3A Area 12 outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Locust Fork was overwhelmed by Hanceville (Hanceville, AL), 3-2, in a league outing.
