New Mexico High School Baseball - Valencia loses to Grants

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) and the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), saw Grants's baseball team gain a win over Valencia by a tally of 8-5.
The Pirates (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the 4A District 5 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X by Belen (Belen, NM), 3-2, in a league contest.
The Jaguars now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deming for a non-league contest on Friday, April 3. Valencia will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
