West Virginia High School Baseball - Spring Mills held off by Jefferson

In Tuesday's league bout, the Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) baseball squad the host Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV), by a count of 5-3.

The Cougars now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 2. Jefferson will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Spring Mills drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD) to encounter the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 1.
