Arkansas High School Baseball - Waldron held off by Mena

Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), 7-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Mena moves its record to 2-8 on the season. The Bearcats host Dierks (Dierks, AR) to battle the Outlaws in a non-league match on Thursday, April 2. The Outlaws come into the match with a record of 5-7. Dierks won 14-4 in their recent league match against Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR)

The Bulldogs now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 match on Wednesday, April 1. Waldron will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
