Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID), 16-11 in a league match.

With the triumph, Minico moves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Spartans host Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID) to confront the Bruins in a match on Thursday, April 2. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 8-1.

The Wolverines now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jerome for a match on Thursday, April 2. Wood River will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Wendell (Wendell, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
