Texas High School Softball - Cisco bounces Ballinger

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) and the visiting Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX), observed Cisco's softball team notch a victory over Ballinger by a score of 16-6.

With the triumph, Cisco improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Loboes host Winters (Winters, TX) to face the Blizzards in a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, April 3. The Blizzards enter the contest with a record of 7-5. Winters won 15-1 in their recent league contest against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX)

The Bearcats now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Coleman for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, April 3. Ballinger will face a Bluecats squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Bluecats record now stands at 5-6.
