The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) and the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), observed Steele's softball team get by Canyon by a tally of 7-3.

The Knights (18-6) will now prepare for their bout against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 6A Region IV District 29 bout with a 17-6 record. In their last bout, Clemens tipped Judson (Converse, TX), 24-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout, on Thursday, April 2. Canyon will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Rattlers enter the contest with a 7-15 record after their 18-2 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
