Ohio High School Softball - Catholic Central knocked off by Southeastern Local

March 31, 2026: Springfield, OH 45505

In Tuesday's league test, the Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), by a count of 18-2.

Next, the Trojans meet the Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 2. Southeastern Local will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Fairmont (Kettering, OH).

The Irish (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Yellow Springs was routed by Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH), 17-0, in a non-league outing.
