The DeSoto Central Jaguars softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Hernando Tigers to 0 in the Jaguars league win on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley View for a non-league test on Thursday, April 2. DeSoto Central will meet a Blazers squad coming off a 16-10 league loss to Marion (Marion, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 4-7.

The Tigers (18-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, St. Benedict at Auburndale held off Harding Academy (Memphis, TN), 15-0, in a non-league test.
