Texas High School Softball - Early bounces Peaster

March 31, 2026: Early, TX 76802

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Early Longhorns (Early, TX) and the visiting Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX), observed Early's softball team prevail over Peaster by a tally of 17-8.

The Longhorns (16-4) will now prepare for their bout against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region I District 8 bout with a 3-17 record. In their last bout, Comanche was routed by Eastland (Eastland, TX), 11-1, in a league contest.

The Greyhounds now hold a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Dublin for a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Wednesday, April 1. Peaster will face a Lions squad coming off a 23-9 league loss to Millsap (Millsap, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-17.
