The Purvis Tornadoes softball squad scored 7 runs and restricted the visiting Stone Tomcats to 3 in the Tornadoes league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Tornadoes meet the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) in a 5A Region 4 test, on Thursday, April 2. Purvis will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Tomcats go into the test with a 14-9 record after their 7-3 league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS).
