With the win, Piedmont Community Charter upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Patriots host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to battle the Stallions in a Metro Eight 1A test on Tuesday, March 8. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 1-2. Queen's Grant lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

With the defeat, Bessemer City falls to 0-2 on the season. The Yellow jackets host East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 8. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1. East Gaston lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)
