The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles crushed the visiting Sage Hill Lightning baseball team by a tally of 12-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league bout on Monday, March 7. Capistrano Valley Christian will face a Mustangs team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.
Next, the Lightning face the Harbor Teacher Monarchs (Wilmington, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 8. Sage Hill will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Monarchs enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA).
