The Cherryville Ironmen baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host West Lincoln Rebels to 5 in the Ironmen non-league victory on Friday.
The Ironmen (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Christ the King tipped SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Rebels (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans go into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Bandys was edged by South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 5-0, in a non-league match.
