The Jasper County Hurricanes baseball team (Monticello, GA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA)
The Cavaliers now hold a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Presbyterian Day for a A Private Region 1 outing on Tuesday, March 8. Mount de Sales Academy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.
Next, the Hurricanes confront the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a AA Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, March 8. Jasper County will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Westside (Macon, GA).
