The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) baseball trounced the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), 11-1 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Myers Park will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Cardinal enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC).

The Wildcats now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a non-league contest on Monday, March 7. Lake Norman will play a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
