In Friday's non-league test, the host Edgewood Red Wolves lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Melbourne Bulldogs.
The Red Wolves now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Merritt Island for a 1A D8 test on Monday, March 7.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Satellite Scorpions (Satellite Beach, FL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 9. Melbourne will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Scorpions come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 19-17 non-league loss to Viera (Viera, FL).
