May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sharks confront the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. May River will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bishop England (Charleston, SC).

The Cougars now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Colleton County will confront a team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hilton Head (Hilton Head Island, SC). The record now stands at 2-1.
