Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Raiders face the New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL) in a 1A-3A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. Houston Academy will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Gamecocks enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL).
The Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host New Brockton for a 1A-3A Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 11.
