In Friday's non-league game, the host Shelby Golden Lions baseball team scored a nice 14-3 victory over the Ashbrook Greenwave.
The Golden Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the game with a 0-0 record.
The Greenwave (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Stuart W. Cramer ran past Shelby (Shelby, NC), 12-1, in a non-league game.
