The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Green Hope Falcons to 6 in the Patriots league win on Friday.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the Southwest Wake game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Holly Springs was overwhelmed by Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 19-7, in a non-league game.
The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts go into the Southwest Wake game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Panther Creek was overwhelmed by Apex (Apex, NC), 19-0, in a league game.
