Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Collinsville Panthers (Collinsville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 10. Guntersville will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record.

The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boaz for a 4A-5A Area 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Cherokee County will confront a Pirates team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Crossville (Crossville, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-6.
