Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Monday, March 7. Model will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA).

The Rebels now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 challenge on Thursday, March 10. Fannin County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
