Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) and the visiting Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), witnessed Geraldine's softball squad tip Sylvania by a count of 6-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Glencoe for a 3A Area 12 match on Tuesday, March 8. Geraldine will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Sylvania moves to 2-1 on the season. The Rams travel to West Point (Cullman, AL) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 2-1. West Point won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Danville (Danville, AL)
