The Gallup Bengals baseball team (Gallup, NM), was overwhelmed 16-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM)

The Pirates now hold a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 8. Grants will confront a Demons team coming off a 23-6 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Demons record now stands at 5-0.

Next, the Bengals confront the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 7. Gallup will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM).
