Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) and the host Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), saw Miami's baseball squad edge Thatcher by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Vandals play the Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 4. Miami will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Lobos enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Show Low (Show Low, AZ).

The Eagles now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sahuarita for a non-league battle on Monday, March 6. Thatcher will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.
