In Saturday's non-league match, the host McCracken County Mustangs basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the Carlisle County Comets.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league match, on Sunday, March 5. McCracken County will attempt to better on its 23-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 26-5 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Murray (Murray, KY).

With the defeat, Carlisle County moves to 17-15 on the year.
