The Newark Wildcats topped the visiting Olentangy Liberty Patriots basketball team by a final score of 57-48 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Olentangy Orange Pioneers (Lewis Center, OH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 8. Newark will attempt to move on its 20-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the game with a 20-3 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Hayes (Delaware, OH).
With the defeat, Olentangy Liberty moves to 21-4 on the year.
