The Anchor Bay Tars basketball team (Fair Haven, MI), was nudged 40-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI)

The Cougars now possess a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grosse Pointe North for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 7. Dakota will confront a Norsemen team coming off a 46-21 non-league win over Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 20-3.
