The Barren County Trojans topped the host Russellville Panthers basketball team by a final score of 41-27 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league game, on Sunday, March 5. Barren County will attempt to move on its 28-6 season record. The Purples enter the game with a 23-10 record after their 73-39 non-league win over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY).
With the defeat, Russellville moves to 14-14 on the year.
