St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY), 74-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea upgrades its record to 25-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY) to play the Friars in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. The Friars go into the bout with a record of 6-4. St. Anthony's won 35-31 in their recent non-league bout against Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Syosset, NY)
