The Altha Wildcats softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Baker Gators to 7 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Altha moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Vernon (Vernon, FL) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Monday, March 13. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 1-5.

In their next game, the Gators play the Northview Chiefs (Bratt, FL) in a 1A District 1 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Baker will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Arnold (Panama City Beach, FL).
