The Eupora Eagles routed the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Houston (Houston, MS). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Houston was routed by Kossuth (Kossuth, MS), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Grenada for a 6A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, March 7. Starkville will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 2-4.
