Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hobbs for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19.

With the loss, Hobbs falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Goddard (Roswell, NM) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
