Next, the Mustangs confront the Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 16 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Madisonville will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX).

The Tigers now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Jacksonville for a 4A Region 2 District 16 challenge on Friday, March 8.
