The Christ the King Crusaders routed the host North Hills Christian Eagles softball squad by a count of 14-6 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride come into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Pine Lake Prep overcame Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Greater Vision Academy (Gibsonville, NC). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Greater Vision Academy overcame River Mill (Graham, NC), 18-4, in a non-league test.
