Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Aggies now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Fayetteville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Sylacauga will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL). The Wolves record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Elmore County falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Saint James (Montgomery, AL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 8-0. Saint James won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Reeltown (Notasulga, AL)
