The Kemper County Wildcats softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Leake County Gators to 3 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Kemper County moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region 5 game on Thursday, March 7. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Gators clash with the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 7. Leake County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
