Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA), 24-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dodson for a C District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 5.

With the loss, Red River falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA) to face the Tigers in a 2A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Jonesboro-Hodge lost 20-2 in their recent league challenge against Red River (Coushatta, LA)
