Georgia High School Baseball - Cross Creek loses to West Laurens

West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA), 24-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, West Laurens advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Raiders host Appling County (Baxley, GA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 4-7. Appling County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Wayne County (Jesup, GA)
The Razorbacks now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Laurens for a 3A Area 4 match on Friday, March 7. Cross Creek will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 16-11 non-league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-3.
