In Tuesday's non-league bout, the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), by a tally of 1-0.
Next up, the Eagles battle the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 7. East Bladen will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 11-10 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
The Trojans now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league match on Friday, March 7. West Brunswick will battle a Dark Horses squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 3-0.
